TECNAM CUSTOMER SEMINARS ADD NEW DIMENSION TO AERO 2013, FRIEDRICHSHAFEN

Tecnam seminars at Aero 2013 update customers on General Aviation developments

In addition to displaying 12 aeroplanes in its extensive range, Tecnam introduced a new dimension to its participation at Aero 2013 by facilitating 5 special seminars for its global customers.

Seminars highlighting Tecnam’s range of aeroplanes exceptional low operating costs, a session from ROTAX who confirmed that Tecnam has for many years been its largest client in Light Sport and Certified engines plus a very special presentation from Aerobility, the UK based charity that makes flying available for the disabled that took seminar participants through background to the remarkable flight of the Tecnam P2006T Twin at the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympics Games

Aerobility’s Mike Miller-Smith MBE revealed his charity’s order for the first of a number of specially adapted Tecnam P2002JF to be delivered to the UK later this year.

Lycoming detailed its support of Tecnam’s current P Twenty Ten programme and its participation in support of the P2012 Traveller, 9 seat commuter aeroplane, due to enter service in 2016.

Of particular interest to many was a special presentation by INDRA, Spain’s leading defense and security organisation, on the benefits and opportunities presented by the Tecnam MRI. The Tecnam MRI has been specifically designed to support lower cost maritime surveillance and border patrol activities
